Has anyone here ever played a McPherson? I've heard some pretty good review on them, but I can't find any in the music stores.

Thanks, I actually just came from their web site and was listing to a Phil Keaggy sound byte. VERY impressive. Not bad at all if you have an extra 5 grand to dish out. If I wasn't totally in love with Ovations, that is where my money would be going.

I love that they stream the songs from their promo CD's there. Good stuff from some great players.

They are expensive. But yeah, if I had the money I'd have one.

A friend of mine in Nashville has a couple of McPhersons. I played both last time I was out there and they are very impressive. The Mcpherson is one of only a handful of non-Ovation guitars I'd consider owning.

I`ve used a couple, nice guitars but to me way over priced. Good pickups (BAGGS) and they have good resale.

If you ask for info from the web site, they will send you the demo CD. It's very nice.

I'd love to have one, but one thing I like about the guitars I play now is that I can have a really good Ovation for a really good price, bang for the buck considered.
