I have a 1312 Series that I purchaced in 1992 and I am trying to get a decent estimation on its value. It is in excelent condition with only light surface scratches from the pick. It is made in Korea so i know its not anything special but I have been told by a music shop that its only worth $250. Hell i paid twice that much when i first bought it... and that was 19 years ago! Can anyone help?!?!

The guy at the music shop was being honest.
They are sturdy guitars with laminated tops, but nothing special.
A coupla years back I sold nice one for $188, with a Case.
That was okay, cuz I only paid $133 for it (with a case).
All that happened when the economy and the Used marketplace was better.
The highest MSRP on them was $549...
Unless you find someone who wants that model for sentimental reasons,
it will never be worth that much again. Sorry.

As with any guitar sale... It is only worth what the market will bear.
And as much as the buyer is willing to pay for your particular guitar.

Your music shop is probably pretty close to right on. They'd know the local market especially. While nice guitars, the Korean Ultras are nothing to write home about and there's lots of them out there. Wish I had better news for you. That said, you can always set your own price and see if someone comes along who will pay it. That happens a lot more times than zero, so there's not a lot to lose.
