Hey guys, it's been a while...

I had this aweful situation come up and we had to move out of our home suddenly (structural issues...not fun). Fortunately, we've finally gotten settled into our new place and love it. Maybe NOT so fortunately, I've picked up a couple new toys and have to clear room before I end up sleeping in the garage...so...

Up for sale:

* 2007 C2078LX-RTD Custom Elite in perfect condition, absolutely factory mint. Hardly ever played, I tried to get a friend to bite on this and he's just stuck on his Taylors...so it's up for grabs. Awesome abalone inlays, contour body, ebony fretboard, OP-Pro preamp w/XLR & 1/4" jacks. Deluxe hardshell case included, $1150 shipped to CONUS.

* 1979 1617-1 Legend, just back from the factory with cleaned-up electronics, frets, bracing, etc. Plays and sounds like a dream. A few little nicks and checks here and there, but straight neck, nice top, action set beautifully, electronics are perfect, and the sound is that classic aged Ovation perfection. Comes in the original brown vintage case. $550 shipped to CONUS.

* 1995 EA-68 Slimline, near perfect condition. Easily a 9.5/10, beautiful natural finish. Plays like an electric, but makes an incredible stage acoustic with virtually no feedback problems. I've run it for a little while through a Fender Blues Jr all-tube amp with just a tiny amount of gain and it sounds awesome. Second owner, this one originally belonged to fellow OFC'er Dan Schafer. I hate to part with this one, but just happened to fall across a new VXT and couldn't resist... Asking $900 shipped in the US.

* 1998 Collector's Series in very nice condition. A couple very slight imperfections, otherwise virtually mint. Frets are in nice shape, top is flat, neck is laser-straight. Well taken care of, in original hardshell case. Beautiful flaming on top wood really shines through the finish, which has a very deep glow to it in natural lighting. $800 shipped in the US.

I have more hi-res pics on request, and will entertain serious offers. Email or PM me for more info. I will ship international, and have done so many times before, so contact me for shipping rates.

Hope to get back to chatting more soon...happy holidays!!!

Sorry to hear about the troubles. May at least some virtue be the result, and may these beauties find good homes.

I see, you intend to reduce your inventory by buying slimmer guitars?

Andrew and I got to jam with Roby Duke at the Summit this last weekend. To think I used feel bad for him because he only had one guitar... :D

While I was looking for bargains under $20 somebody goes and buys a new VXT!

The 2078 sure looks sweet.

Mike, you know full well who I blame for that one...

Besides, when you find a deal that's too good to be true, you just gotta jump on it...and then find out that Al has one for an even better deal. Just my luck...

Even I may have overstepped my bounds with this one, though. Already 16 guitars at home and I bring home another one unplanned...my wife's patience seems to know no ends. Not yet anyway.

The C2078LX is gone, others are still available.

I also have a really nice Breedlove AC25-SF Plus that still has the blank warranty card for sale as well, on ebay HERE.
