Location: Warren,Pa. | I've always lusted after these. I love the sound they put out. Even love the sound of the lowly Guitar Center Baladeer Special.
So I have this 6778LX NEB that I love to look at but I'm not very impressed with the sound. Maybe if I sent it in for a Cedar top with maybe a deep cutaway or a contour bowl. Bass soundholes only...don't know what wood for eppaulets. Not sure what to use for top binding. How does all this sound???

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I love my 1768C also. I have a good friend that swears it sounds better to him than my 1581 Adamas(I don't agree that it sounds better, just different)or the 1537 I USED to have. There IS something about those cedar tops. I guess that's why they used them so much for classicals. |
