I agree, it is a close second if not equal to the 1537. Gets more play than my pre-production 1537. Great player. $1K would be very reasonable. | ||

If you are concerned, maybe you should email him and ask him to measure the action on each E string at the 12th fret. You could compare that to the specs on the Ovation website. | ||

Joined: November 2007 Posts: 1486 Location: Cincinnati | he said it's 5/64" at bass E string and 4/64" at the treble E string. the only thing i could find on the Ovation website was in the Owner's Manual. it said the action should be 4/64" at the bass E and 6/64" at the treble E string. is this a problem? thanks.
