Very nice guitar. I know "The Old Trader" liked his a lot.
A bit more than I can afford good luck with the sale. :) |

| My friend, Bob Minner, who has been Tim McGraw's guitarist for the past 15 years or so, helped design the "Crown of Thorns" and was named in his honor. I've never played one of these, but Bob tells me they are great sounding boxes. I've been wanting one of the Tim Stafford Bluegrass Models, but thats only a dream right now. |

Location: Chehalis, Washington | It's worth picking one up. I'm still amazed that something so light weight can have so much bottom end. I have an SJ Tacoma in solid Koa that's really bassy (particularly in drop-D) and this CA totally outdoes it, with even more balance across the spectrum. Looks cool...sounds cooler.
It plays a lot like a Custom Legend, but at like 2/3 of the body weight. I've never been a fan of non-cutaway dreadnoughts, but this one is rounded off nicely where it's very comfortable to play, even sitting down hunched over it. |
