Due to some details I will not bore you with. I am selling this guitar from my personal collection.

Adamas 1 1587-2 cutaway. Made in the 90's for export, it has an optima preamp. I consider it to be one of Ovation's best.

I have been using this as my main "stage" acoustic for the past few years. The Adamas 1 combined with the cutaway and a textrued top is exactly what I wanted and needed to play the strage oddball gig I may get asked to play. You may have seen a pic of two of my newphew and I doiong a coffee house gig. look closely I am playing this gutar.

I have a pic available if you want it I will send it. guitar is $3000 shipped comes with a 9158 deluxe case and is in MINT condition.

I promise to wipe off all of my stink before I send it to you.

Interesting trades entertained but probably will be refused.

I can attest that these are the best guitars made. The sound is second to none, the looks get constant inquiries every time they come out of the case, and they are tough as nails!

I find it amazing there are two, three for sale righ in this forum, and right now! These never come up for sale anymore. One of the ones I have came from Al. His guitars are always perfectly described!

A smart guitar salesman would send a picture of this to my email address with some clever message like, "Show how much you love your husband, by getting him a red Adamas for Valentine's Day. "Adamas" comes from the Latin word for diamond and I'm sure he'd rather have this than diamonds."
Probably won't work, but it would be worth a try. Somebody much less clever sent a picture of a red Custom Legend with a message like, "Linda, Mark said he'd like a red one for Christmas." That didn't work at all.

NICE! ... That would sure look good next to my black one, but I don't have enough funds to own ALL the good ones. You're right, they ARE one of the best ones made.

If I were smart, I'd understand you, Cliff. Maybe not. I'll stop thinking. It makes me tired.

"Go ahead, I double-dog dare ya." The kid accepting the dare was always the one who got in trouble.
Stephen, I had to abbreviate to get it down to 3 lines. If I start trading guitars as much as you guys, I'll just skip the signature line. Maybe I'll have my daughter set up a website like Tuppy's.

Nah man, you got me confused with Trader Jim and all that Southeastern crowd. I don't trade......I am downsizing, remember!!! ;)

By the way....got a few nice electrics I need to move....I noticed your electric collection was a bit thin :D

Over the long haul you've done your share of trading, Stephen. I've finally got to the point where I'm not embarassed to play my acoustic guitars. I'm not there with electrics. I suck at electric guitar, so I have 2 more than I should have, but they were cheap.

Thank You Lanaki.

I have not dealt with Al before.

I see why everyone recomends him sooooooo much.

He is great to deal with!!

This Adamas is better than described and is much more beautiful in real life. The picture did not do it justice.

By the way Al, what are you getting for the 08 collector's, and can you post any pictures? I saw some a while back but am having trouble finding it on this site.

thanks Duane

I'm jealous. That is one nice guitar. I tried to get Al to convince my wife to buy it for me for Valentine's Day, but the PU assy wouldn't do it. Coward. Good thing he has such great products, delivery and service, because he's lousy at the old hard-sell.
