A little trivia for some of you.... In the last couple of years of production (mostly just using up parts), of the THead, Ovation made the neck to join the body at the 18th fret (I think) instead of at the 16th fret (somebody correct me on those numbers) in an attempt to open up more playing room up the neck.

These can easily be spotted by the gap between the end of the fretboard and the neck p/u, which is not there on the shorter scale THeads.

Witko had one (you still have it Dave?) that was just like this one except he had changed all the hardware to chrome. I think there's a pic of me on his website, holding it and trying to look like I knew what I was doing......

It was more like half way through production and it was done to get mote playability out of them.
