The DS768 is the older model which in my opinion is superior to the newer DS778. If it is like new and has never been played, that is an excellent price.

444 Pounds is about 600€. Reasonable price in Europe. Go for it, those Longnecks are great guitars! But be careful, it´s a zero feedback seller.

I have one and it's a very nice instrument. It has the deep bowl and OP Pro electronics. Like Stephent28 said, it is superior to the DS778. The one I have also has a very nice natural spruce top. These are becoming very rare and hard to find, and as a matter-of-fact, any good acoustic baritone guitars are becoming harder to come across. Since I aquired mine last month I have had 3 offers to buy it, with one being a guitar store. Ovation makes the best ones I've ever seen and are much easier to play due to the Ovation neck (same holds true with their 12 strings). If you can snag it for that price that's a good deal in my opinion also. Just a side note ... Baritones do not sound and play the same as other guitars, and unless you know for sure that you are ready to go in that direction, you may want to hold off. Just my opinion for what its worth. Good Luck!

Not sure what Vince meant by that.....they tune just like a regular guitar except either to a "D" or "B" or anywhere in between.

The neck is longer and the sound is more full and awesome but other than that I think it is exactly what you were looking for.

What I was saying is that playing in the lower registers (i.e., B) is not something everyone is accustomed to, and some people don't like the tone that low. Additionally, if playing with other guitarists you'll have to be able to transpose. Also, if using baritone strings, the low ones are rather fat and tend to be harder to play for people with small hands. All this is pretty much personal preference issues, but I have known some who have aquired baritones and ended up not being happy with them. Like I said ... aside from those issues it sounds like a good deal on a good baritone.
