okay guys and gals, i have got an extreme case of collings sj gas and a potential of curing it but only with your help.

i am very hesitantly offering up for sale three of my excellent stringed instruments in order to help fund this cure.

1) ovation solidbody viper in sunburst, exc. condition. fender gigbag, $500 plus shipping to wherever.

2) the ovation viper EA-68, black, that i just bought from instantkarma, near mint with one tiny ding on front. awesome player/gigger, dangit! OHSC, $750 plus shipping to wherever.

3) my excellent 2007 takamine EF340S bluegrasser in near mint condition, couple tiny blemishes on sides from a stand, stamped "USED" due to a bit of clear overspray which i have buffed out. phenomenal player. ouch, this hurts! superior "bodyglove" gig bag or well used but great TKL hardcase, $800 plus shipping to wherever.

photos are available upon request. i need to act fast on the collings so please don't deliberate or i will most likely bloat up and expire before my time. ;)

AAAACK!

And here I've done blown all my dough. That EA-68 sure sounds sweet.

Dangit is right.

Randy, unless your moving out of that rainforest soon, the Colling's will have moss growing in it by September. Keep the plastic guitars and stay away from the wood :p

the takamines have done very well here. i've been squirming for a collings for quite awhile now and the news from amelia just fed the worms.

No better way to know how good your EF75 is than to drop a lot of money on a collings. I know this very well.

my EF75 can't go anywhere. and i don't believe it would be fair to compare it with this collings. not only that, but you, beal, stephen and now moody have all thrown logs on this collings fire. i've never played one. but i never played an ovation or adamas before runnin' into you "scoundrels" either.

Yea, that's the one...looks like someone sneezed while cutting the headstock on the band saw...

Don't know about that pick guard either, wouldn't a little snotblob do the trick instead?

Collings all maple SJ with sitka (??) top.

Nice!......way to jump into the deep end of the pool on your first attempt at swimming with the sharks!

What's the top? My all maple C-10 Deluxe has an Adirondack top and man is it sweet sounding.

spruce top, stephen. sitka variety. tiger flamed maple b/s. love the 1 3/4" nut and that tortoise binding really sets it off.

Big Blue was probably cheaper.

Beggin....I remember the hole!

I wanted to get close enough to take a look down but I was afraid....very very afraid!
