I have a happy handful of Ovations that easily come in at under $500.00 individually and, as usual, there are things I want. So I am open to offers, deals, trades, sad luck stories, etc.

Ask me for more or better pictures and history.

The Elite T arrived yesterday and the Ebay ad said it had a bow i the neck and the heel was cracked. BOLT ON NECKS RULE! All it nneded was some adjustment and a reglued heel. Comes with recycled case.

The Koa T Celeb is luscious to look at and easy to play. OP40 and a newer case.

The Red hot OA came from Tupp's and I added an OP 40. It's just different but in a good way. Gig bag and attitude.

The 1995 Collector's I nicknamed "Van Go" because it has one lopped ear and a small warp around the soundhole. OHSC and remember that this one has the dual piezo and microphone pickup and preamp. Beautiful wood, sound and playability.

Open to all offers, the brokener or stranger the better. Cash is wonderful. All proceeds will almost certainly go straight to Alpep or another OFC member.
These all would make excellent first, second or next guitars for friends and family.

Welcome back Steve.

I hope things have at least started to sort themselves out at your end.

Since I hate it when sellers aren't specific, here's what I think I need:

From Left to Right:
Ovation Ocean Acoustic – 6 string A/E with Gig Bag and Strap. I’ve installed an Ovation OP 40 preamp which has a tuner, 3 band Equalizer, Notch filter and Mid Booster. Interesting and unique sound hole pattern and personality. Rosewood fret board, Ebony Bridge, nicely set up. Made in Korea. $329.00

Ovation Celebrity CS 347 – 6 string A/E with Hard Shell Case and strap. I’ve installed an Ovation OP 40 preamp which has a tuner, 3 band Equalizer, Notch filter and Mid Booster. It came to me with electrical issues which are fixed. I decided to remove the epaulet for a cleaner look and to see more of the Koa wood. Rosewood Bridge and fret board, well set up. Made in Korea. $445.00

Ovation Elite T – 6 string Made in USA model with the bolt-on LX style neck, Upgraded to the OP 40 Preamp this is the no-frills highest value in $ per Sound instrument that Ovation puts out. Awesome sound, action and durability! It comes with OHSC and strap. Ebony Bridge and fret board. $475.00 Comes with a beat up case.

Ovation 1995 Collector’s Edition – Made in USA, this has an extensive range of quality woods and workmanship. There is a combined OPP and Microphone pick up that can be blended at the Preamp. One ear is broken at the peg head and a small warp is present at the sound hole. Plays and sounds wonderfully. OHSC, and strap included. $375.00

Shipping, Handling, Pizza box and Insurance should be $35 untill you get to about Chicago and then $40 to the Atlantic. All the other places I never take my wife will need to figured out.

And BTW - What is "GERD"

OK, GERD was my poor attempt to describe my excessive GAS.

For a brief interlude on health care:
When heartburn becomes more than occasional, the 'acid reflux' becomes categorized as:
Gastro (stomach)
Esophageal (the tube connecting your mouth to your stomach)
Reflux
Disease
(meaning the valve between your stomach and esophagus is not functioning properly, allowing stomach acid is allowed to irritate the esophagus - hence the heartburn sensation. It is considered in some cases to be a step in the progressive succession of digestive disorders.

Put anther way, its that burning sensation many men (and women to less a degree) begin to feel as we become less active and assume poor habits. OK, I left the door wide open on this one...

Since this is the "for sale" section, I should note: In health care, if we can label it, we can sell it...Ahhh, the business of health care.

Maybe, in my case, it also stands for:
Guitars
Enter, but
Rarely
Disappear

...I still like that KOA... (but then again, I have a KOA elite from the GC which is mighty fine).

Dharma?

Don't say any more. I haven't finished the second season of Lost yet!

And yes 928S, if I don't keep my middle vertebre from going out of line I get the poorly closed stomach valvy thingy syndrome. Roll on a soccer ball just before bed.

If I wasn't about to fork over lots of bucks to Kim Keller, I'd take that Koa Celeb. The problem is that it has such a distinctive look I wouldn't be able to sneak it past the wife...which could lead to a shortened lifespan for both me and the guitar!

The Van Gogh came from gh1's house not long ago. I do have a donor peghead if someone wanted to paste the ear back on.

The Koa Celeb is vivacious and should go anywhere and take the punishment.
