I have been searching around the internet and cannot find anything written about it anywhere. Years ago I emailed Ovation and they told me that these were a Celebrity produced originally for the group Megadeth and they were the prototype for the Tangent models. The only figure that they had was that only 24 units were sold in Canada. The guitar is all black and in mint condition. Anyone know anything about this?

I'm betting you could easily get twice that for it on looks alone. The Megadeath tie-in is feathers on the lure. I like the way Ovation ends the fretboard on this guitar SO MUCH MORE than they do on the Elites. Wonder if I could take my router to the 'T' and approximate . . . well on second thought maybe it's not that bad.

Originally I was about to buy a red celebrity and when I asked if they had a case for it they showed me to a case that contained the all-black celebrity. Turns out the guitar had been sitting in the shop for a few months now and the guy who ordered/requested it had never shown up to pay for it. I asked if I could have this one instead and they agreed. I've never really learned how to play guitar and have always want to. Perhaps everyones positive support will help me finally take those lessons. Oh what an imposter I am! Anyways thanks for the welcoming everyone!

And search 'Guitar Lessons' on YouTube... Or I'll trade ya' a really nice Red One, with a tuna! If that is what you originally wanted anyway...
