I bought this only to find out the description wasn't quite accurate. (Yeah, that never happens right?) Anyway, I have neither the time nor the desire to deal with it. What is "it" exactly. Read on to find out, because "it's" not too big a deal.

This is a Celeb mando in used but decent shape. It plays reasonably well, but the action is a little high (on the upper frets especially). It has a few dings on the top and headstock (pictured). They are all purely cosmetic. And I guess at one point someone couldn't be bothered to find a set of ball-end mandolin strings for it. (See bridge close-up.) This is also purely cosmetic. The kicker for me is the action, which I traced to the heel: It has separated slightly from the body. Not enough to kill the thing, but enough that it has to be mentioned for sure. (Which of course it wasn't.) Anyway, I could not get it in a picture, so I shoved a pick in there to illustrate. The pick is 0.8mm thick(It says so right on the pick.), so I would guess the separation is less than 1mm. It bears mentioning that the picture was taken with the mando tuned to concert pitch. As I said, it is playable and the intonation seems good. Beyond these issues, it's in fine shape for a player. The top has no finish cracks (only a scratch here or there), the neck looks good, the tuners look like new, and the pre-amp seems fine. It also comes with the upgraded, fitted HSC. (Heck, that alone is worth $100!) I even put new strings on it yesterday. Anyway, to try to move this, let's go a little cheap here. Say $250 + $30 shipping in the continental US? If you want to pick it up or arrange for shipping from your end, that's fine too. Overseas, please contact me about shipping first. I'll be pleased to send a quote. If you need a decent A/E mando to take to gigs, this is your puppy. Someone hop on this one OK? I've got two projects waiting to be picked up at the mothership, so I can use the fundage. Thanks for looking everyone. Feel free to ask questions.
