Joined: October 2008 Posts: 16 Location: Indiana, USA | I've wanted a Magnum I bass for a very long time, and I recently acquired one from eBay - nice deal, but it's completely in pieces. No problem, as I enjoy a project. However, a couple of things are missing. I have the big neck pickup, but it didn't come with the plastic "bracket" (for lack of a better word) that it is supposed to mount in, or with the mounting screws and springs. I'm sure that I could rig something up that would work fine, but before I go to the trouble, I thought I'd see if anyone here has any leads on the proper parts. Extensive internet searching didn't really turn up anything but this website. The other thing that I'm missing, which is pretty minor, is the proper screws to mount the metal ring (which in turn supports the pickups) to the body itself. I should be able to find some that work at the hardware store if needed, but if anyone has the right screws or knows what size to pick up, it would definitely be helpful. Thanks!

Then there's always that real job that gets in the way. I tried to buy a guitar neck from him and happened to time it so that he was moving from East Coast to West. It took a long time for him to get all his stuff unpacked.

I was traveling two weeks ago, and it may have been lost in cyberspace between computers I was using. Please re-send with what you need and I'll check the part bin. I'm pretty sure I have the large mounting bracket, springs and screws and such. Anyway, go ahead and send an email to mileskb at aol.com and I'll get it.
