Hey Paulcc1, You said your W597 sounded "awesone", I'm guessing you were plugged in, not mic'd. I'm considering a W597 strictly for plugged in stuff. Glad you had fun at the open mic !!
Thanks,

Location: Vermont USA | Actually I was not plugged in it was mic'd. The guitar came across with a wonderful deep tone and had plenty of volume. I think the room lent itself to the sound also.

I thought it was, looks like one except for the funny little holes. What I have learned so far is never underestimate a good guitar.

Location: Vermont USA | In the year 2004 I bought my first O a S868 shallow bowl I wasn't sure if it would project well. I go to nursing homes and cant plug in to anything. So I asked a friend to play the guitar and I walked across the room and around and I found out it projected just fine the W597 does the same thing. When we are sitting or standing in back of the guitar with the funny little holes (aka: epaulets)we miss the projection. That's my story and I'm sticking to it, Mr. Congressman I do not know the whereabouts of Mr. Hoffa.
