I keep thinking of that YouTube clip where the guy compares the Martin to his Adamas. The first time I watched it, I thought the Adamas sounded great with little effort and the Martin sounded thin, even though he was wailing on it. I was shocked when he thought he was demonstrating the Martin's superiority. I think all he demonstrated was that he liked it.
I have a friend who is very musical and so is his wife. He had an Alvarez for years and tried "everything" before buying a Taylor. I was shocked at how much he paid for it, but you guys have tought me to overcome that sticker shock.

Jim,

Where is the 1537 going? I see you pulled the ebay listing early.

It's on loan to my brother in law who is mulling over buying it.
