Location: Utah		That's a real nice guitar and a very decent price. Basically it's a 1778LX sold as a GC special. Someone's going to be very happy for Christmas with that guitar.

+1. I got it in october for 600$. It's an amazing guitar. Deep bass, clear mid and high, balanced sound. Very very vERY nice one.

Location: Cincinnati		I checked it out in person last week and brought it home. Other than a pencil tip sized ding below the bridge, it's almost new. If anyone is looking for a very nice inexpensive guitar, I'll pass it on to you for what I paid, $400, plus actual shipping.

Isn't that the one with onlt bass side eppies and the eppie is spalted maple? Is the finish black?

Don't have the $ to buy it, just curious.
