Having done business with him before, I know how to get to his house if the buyer needs to go pick up the guitar personally!

Stephen,
The professor bought my Hurricane = the prettiest guitar ever made that's darn near impossible to play (if you have fingers that aren't needles).

My Hurricane and Wurlitzer are a challenge (versus the PD, Deacon, or Hamer Newport) if you haven't been playing them for awhile...ok after about ten minutes. Hurricane is a great 12.

There were 2 different Hurricane necks. Sounds like you had the 1-11/16. Same width as a 6-string, just with twice as many strings. Yes, a little cramped to play. They later changed to a 1-7/8 neck which is a little more traditional for a 12-string.

No. This is Mitzdawg, an OFC member up in New Hampshire north of Boston. I picked up a Hurricane from him just before the 2007 OFC tour. He has some very well-cared for equipment. The Hurricane was dead mint.

OK....at worst case I gave this thread a much needed bump.

I can't believe no one has jumped on this one. Another couple years there is gonna be a lot of crying by those who had the chance and didn't jump on it.

The Craigslist posting expired. Does that mean it sold, so I can quit worrying about it?

Craigslist ad expired but not sold. Looks like it will be sold, we are just establishing how far west it's going.
