Location: AZ		New guy here. I was gifted an Ovation from a family member. She purchased the guitar new in 1991. Paperwork state: Model # 5868-AS, Serial # 439576, Date Purchased 8/10/91, Price $1600. She NEVER played it. Still has the original strings. Not a scratch, dent, or ding. What a gorgeous guitar. I assume it's walnut? Thanks for looking. I will post pictures as soon as I can figure out how.

Location: Tennessee		Congrats ... nice guitar. The -AS stands for Angel Step, as in Angel Step Walnut. Welcome to the forum.
