I have never touched that kind of Viper, but... EA has a curved end of the fretboard, CV has flat. That is just going by my search of pictures. But! If I was gonna put four pictures of My Viper on CraigsList... One would be of the BACK. EA Vipers string through the back... CV string through the bridge... Also EA Vipers have a 5-piece neck, CV's don't. I cannot tell with that one.

Also has a different profile neck, rosewood fretboard, no string through body, a laminated top, lower quality tuners... and a number of other differences. Celebrity CV-68

Personally I like them but they're a bit down the line of what's on my "would love to purchase" list. The seller is right here in town so I thought, if it actually was what's it's saying it was, I could probably help a buyer out a little.

Having torn apart, stripped down, and irreversibly altered both an EA-68, and a CV-68, I have an unnatural/unhealthy knowledge of the differences between the two... Plus, I'm easily excitable.

He changed the post link to Celebrity Viper but the actual ad still says Ovation EA-68. ...sigh...I'm done.
