Is an EA68 Viper supposed to have bridge bolts?

Glad to hear (read) that it ain't yours, Weaser.
Now I can talk bad about it...

I have never touched that kind of Viper, but...
EA has a curved end of the fretboard, CV has flat.
That is just going by my search of pictures.

But! If I was gonna put four pictures of My Viper on CraigsList... One would be of the BACK.

EA Vipers string through the back... CV string through the bridge...
Also EA Vipers have a 5-piece neck, CV's don't. I cannot tell with that one.

EA's also have ebony fret boards I believe. That one looks like it's rosewood.

That is the Celebrity Viper CV-68, not the USA EA-68... and yes, they have bridge bolts (actually a completely different bridge profile) and the thinline pickup instead of the original patented PU.
Also has a different profile neck, rosewood fretboard, no string through body, a laminated top, lower quality tuners... and a number of other differences.

Celebrity CV-68

For what it's worth, I bought a CV-68 exactly like that new, for fifty bucks more than this is listed, 10 years ago...

Just to clarify, I'm not looking to grab it, I was just passing on the (apparently erroneous) sale to everyone here (yeah, I'm just that kinda guy) because I know there are some real Viper fans amongst us. Personally I like them but they're a bit down the line of what's on my "would love to purchase" list. The seller is right here in town so I thought, if it actually was what's it's saying it was, I could probably help a buyer out a little.

Just stopped in to apologize for stirring up so much sediment so early in the morning.

Personally, I need to have my sediment stirred early in the morning.

Having torn apart, stripped down, and irreversibly altered both an EA-68, and a CV-68, I have an unnatural/unhealthy knowledge of the differences between the two...

Plus, I'm easily excitable.

No issues here, Arthur. Just the opposite in fact - between you and JS, I've learned a bit about the Viper line(s).

...and the seller just emailed me back, thanked me for correcting his posting and told that it's been updated for accuracy. Well, close. He changed the post link to Celebrity Viper but the actual ad still says Ovation EA-68.

...sigh...I'm done.
