Lastest production just arrived. I now have plenty of all materials (ebony, koa, rosewood, walnut, tortoisehell and ivoroid) in fullsize and mini.

I managed to source some Black Walnut with a little more grain figure than in the past. So it's turning out a little darker and is a better match for older Adamas 1's. Fullsize only and just a few sets, which I'll be happy to keep just for OFC Adamas owners. There's a pic on the Ning showing the difference between the last batch and the new darker version. The button in the middle is from the last production run.

Introduced 2 new materials. Faux Amber, quite unusual and very nice. Silmilar in color to the Amber buttons used by Takamine for a while, but a little lighter and nicer. Could be mistaken for the real thing. Probably go well with Koa or such

And.... solid REAL Mother Of Pearl. These were a bitch to photograph, so the pics on the ning don't do them justice. They are gorgeous and make the pearloids look cheap and nasty by comparison. The way they catch the light is fantastic, they'll look amazing under stage lighting. If you have a Custom Legend, Custom Elite, Book Elite, 87C or anything with bling, then these are the classiest finishing touch ever. Don't have a final price yet, but they won't be cheap.

Free shipping to OFC members on all tuner buttons.

I've got to say Temp, the Koa ones on my Tacoma are works of art!

TJ, you're right, the koa buttons are stunning. With that guitar I had pics sent over so I could get a good match. I picked out a set with darker figuring, and it looks great. Now when Cliff got his 12-fret Koala we put a set of Koas on that and it was Koa overload. Too much Koa on the headstock with the overay and TRC. We swapped to tortie to match the binding and that worked just fine. The Wabbit has that combo also.

I put a set of the grained ivoroids on my 2000C and they are simply amazing. I also have some walnut and rosewood ones on other guitars. These buttons are the real deal and well worth the investment.

Temp's buttons are great, and a worthy addition for every guitar, no question (especially the ivroids.Yummy!).

But he still owes us those carved ones!

Temp, I am still on the list for two sets of them if you'll ever realize them.

Best regards,
Kurt

Finally got the price on the MOPs. They'll be £70GBP in my ebay shop. That's about $115USD(I know, ouch!) OFC members get them at a straight $100 including insured shipping. Send me a PM or email. I can't do that price through ebay because of the exhorbitant fees.

Those MOP's would look great on my 87C and 1773LX. When work picks up and I've got some bucks, we'll talk....

Temp,

Are you still offering the $100 shipped price on the MOP tuning buttons?

Also, I'm throwing out an opinion question (I know ... I'm opening up a can of worms here) ...

Which tuner butons would look best on my 2009 Koa? The Mother of Pearl or the Tortise to match the binding?

"Ladies and gentlemen, Templeman has left the building..."

You may want to email him; I don't think he's monitoring this forum.

Oh, yeah. Tortie for sure.

Well ... since I couldn't make a final decision, I ordered one set of MOP, one tortise, and one amber. The MOP will probably go on the CL and one of the other sets will go on the '09. What ever is left I'll try on one of the others or resell. I'll post pics when it's all done.

Got my MOPs a few days ago. The pearloids aren't even in the same league.
