Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Saw Keb Mo last night in an up close and personal concert at the Botanic Gardens in my neighborhood. His main guitar was a Hamer Monoco III. Nice to hear one in the hands of a pro where the volume was kept at a sensible level. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | For slide, he played three guitars, a relatively small, all-metal resonator, couldn't make out the brand but the top was about the size and shape of a Les Paul and it had an ivory P-90 at the neck, a Gibson resonator on an ES body, then for his encore, he brought out some funky model sunburst solid-body along the lines of an old National with a striped pickguard. He has the old-school slide sound down very well. |
