Location: Chicago | I own a black ADII 1769 (Al Di Meola Signature: 2005) that I don't use. In terms of beauty and bling it's stunning. Anyone for a fair trade? I'm told that the AD 1769 is worth between 900-1100.
Since an O-toO trade seems to be a non-starter what about other (brand) guitars of comparable value? a Godin Multiac Steel or Takamine or whatever... |

Customs and taxes, yes. I need to think about this very tempting offer! |

Customs and taxes, yes. I need to think about this very tempting offer! Am I a bad seller if I tell the truth? Yes, I think so.
But, to be honest, I never got 'warm" with the sound of the 06C.
There are some here, that love it's sound, some, that dislike it (like I do). That's why I thin k about letting it go - although it is a real eyecatch on the wall.
Beautiful to look at, and plugged in definetly superb, but I play hardly plugged - and acousticwise it's not my sound. Or, not the sound I await if I grab an Ovation.
Only opinion about my 06C I can display is Charlie Ramon's - and he wasn't to impressed by the acoustic sound.
But, we both are more the adamas/A-braced/vintage-Ovation lovers.
Best regards,
Kurt |

Location: SoCal | Kurt, I'm with you on this one. The 06C is a beautiful instrument, but I was never excited about the sound.
I, too, like the A braced vintage sound.... |

Thanks so much, Kurt (and Moody)
PS I think my hovercraft is full of eels. |
