I don't understand why one bidder made so many incremental bids: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290367565798

Could it be an auto-bidding program gone wrong? I thought that eBay was supposed to keep you from bidding against yourself.

He wasn't bidding against himself, you can't.

I'd say his initial bid was $120, someone else was bidding against him in small increments, most probably someone inexperienced.

Unless as Steve said, some sort of malfunction.
