Anybody got an extra? It's probably time to get it out of the real flimsey Fender gig bag it's in.
Since the body is so wide anyone had luck fitting them into some other hardshell type case?
TIA

The Coffin cases fit but they are huge.

Does the Eastman copy have a fitting case?

I'll look and measure and see what I gots.
(you know, I could find an old Slothead while going through cases!)

Will the 12-string fit in a regular 6-string Breadwinner/Deacon case? I have one- solid but missing the handle and the flap that covers the compartment underneath the neck. I have a roundback case that I might be able to steal these from.

Ooh, I know, I know!

The Case of the 6/12 Cases

Left to Right are a Six String case, the JM Deacon six string case and AJ's 12 string case.

The 12 string cases are 1" longer with the extended peghead pocket.

So Beal, you'll have to negotiate with the man down-under for the 12 string case. I'll just do what the voices tell me.

I could sign it if you want?

Does he have to go down to the crossroads to make the deal?

only in the dead of night with a brown paper bag and small denomination unmarked bills.

No hurry, worst case I'll just get a better heavier gig bag. I'll talk to the Colin Hay look alike too.

:D
I have found that some of the apparently later ie Breadwinner Ltd cases will fit a 12 string.

They are also a bit wider (almost an inch) at the peghead end and an inch longer than the earlier ones.

I discovered this by accident recently when I had two cases, my BW Ltd and a Deacon, side by side and noticed the difference.
I tried my Deacon 12 and she fits.
