I have a really cool Sunbusrt Thunderhead I would like to sell. It's in good condition considering it's age. There are a few things however, I am not sure are stock? The first is that it has a Vintage Bigsby tremelo. It honestly looks stock, but I have not been able to find any photos on the net of a Thunderhead with a Bigsby. The Bigsby is gold as is the hardware. The other 2 things are, it looks to have been refretted as there is NO fretware whatsoever, and the Nut is definately not stock. The only other thing is the neck has a small shim in the side, it's nice and tight and stays in tune VERY well. These are all the things I want to mention so as there would be NO SURPRISES. Overall the guitar is Beautiful, plays nice and it's an oldie.. With the a+ 3 digit seriel which means it was manufactured 1968 (July-Nov). So if anyone is interested, I can post some pictures for you all to see.

Guitar and case are original. The tremolo is not.

Thanks for the info Gallerinski. The seriel is A-251 so being it was an early one, I thought maybe they used the Bigsby... Still learning.

Oh, Bill used just about everything on the shelves... but Bigsby's weren't on the shelf.

I think it fits just fine.

Temp put a Bigsby on his T-head. How much do you want for it or did I miss that?

I couldn't find any info on what these things sell for so I put it on Ebay. Figured that would be the best place to sell, and most secure for the buyer...

Thanks for all the info everyone.

$700-$900. Depends on condition and finding the right buyer. They are cool guitars, similar to a Gibson ES330 (not the 335 --- they don't have the center block running down the middle of the guitar).....

they did come with a trem tailpiece. I guess it was a Schaller. In any case the Bigsby is better and would add, certainly not detract, from the value in my opinion. But what do I know, I just used to sell jet fuel.

This is a T-head deluxe - wouldn't that add to the value even more?

Miles - you're the expert on these things... what do you think it's worth and what a good selling price would be?

You're probably right Beal ;) .

I've seen them with and without "deluxe" written on the headstock.

Beautiful guitar!

Hey, Psychoguitar, people who are from Wheeling WV must be good people! My father was from Moundsville -- I've never really visited Wheeling though.
