I was playing the 1767 a bit this morning and this is my observations compared to my 1767:

Mine
Sunburst
K-bar V shape
Weight a couple of lb's more
Bassy w/ nice mids
No battery "door" :~(

Alison's
Natural
I believe this is a D shape neck
much lighter
Has battery door :~)
clearer pronounced notes

Both in very good condition

I am pretty sure you and Christina will love this guitar.

This works out so well. The reason she (and I) fell in love with my 2077LX is the clear, pronounced notes. It's great that even if I wouldn't sell her the guitar she wanted, I was able to find her one that will satisfy her ear. And I owe it all to Bob. Yep, I'm "a little Iffy" about him, but I suppose he's OK. :D

Alison, So you are are "Mini me" of Iffy? ;)

Remember that it is compared to MY 1767, so while the notes sound "Clearer" they still may not be as "defined " as the 2077LX.
