| Hello! I bought an Ovation Celebrity about 10 years ago when I was a college student and had a friend who was giving me guitar lessons. After I left school I admit I barely touched my guitar, but not long ago I got it out to lend to a friend of mine who wanted to try learning to play--and we noticed that it seemed to be missing a piece. In the middle of the back there is a circular opening about 4-5 inches in diameter. I'm pretty sure there should be a piece that covers that opening. I know very little about the construction of guitars, so I'm really not sure what to do about this. Am I right in thinking there should be a covering there? And if so, is it something that can be replaced? How would I go about replacing it? Thanks for any help you can give. |

It should look like this.
To get another one you can contact the MotherShip (factory) or hope that someone here has one. |

| Okay, thanks. It's just so baffling...I can't imagine how I lost it to begin with. I hope they can replace it. I tried Googling to see if this has happened to anyone else, but I couldn't find anything. |
