Location: Singapore | Hi:
I'm new to OFC. I have what I think is an Ovation Classical 1116. However, the label dropped off years ago before i got hold of it so there's no way to specifically identify it. Does anyone know if it is possible to verify it via s/no alone?
Thanks
I happen to own '97 collecter edition as well as custom legend 1117 too. |

Location: Scotland | There were 2 very similar Ovation nylon string guitars, the 1116 concert classic and the 1113 classic. The differences are pretty subtle, the 1113 had a pine top, double fan bracing and gold-plated tuners. The 1116 had a spruce top, VT bracing and chrome tuners. Both were deep-bowl, so without getting a mirror inside or feeling the bracing pattern the only real visual indicator is the tuners. Chrome and it's a 1116, gold and it's a 1113. |
