I just got in a red AA-14, body dated Dec 8 1980, neck dated Jan 8 1981. I literally had to wash it with Pine-Sol. There were shredded comic book guts inside so it must have been a mouse condo at some point. It cleaned up amazingly well with absolutely no fret wear, no bridge pull, and a wonderful neck set.

The rosette/pickguard assembly is missing altogether. I have a Balladeer style I can put on there and it would look great, but before I do that, I'll hold off a little while in case someone has an AA-14 carcass with intact rosette/guard.

Any reprobate AA-14 carcasses stuffed under anyone's workbench?
