I have a 6778 LX VN that I would like to sell or trade for a nylon string guitar. Sale/trade value $600.00. No problem with a guitar that is more or less expensive and making up the difference. Let me know what you have. It is best to email me at mtmilw@sbcglobal.net. Thank you Mike.

I've not seen another 6778LX-VN other than mine, it will be nice to see how consistent they are in appearance. Not many were made. The next year the '07 Collector's Edition was the exact same appearance, but with more expensive woods.

Hi, Mike M.
Is the 6778LX-VN still for sale? I see it's been posted here for a while. Has the price gone up, or down? Please send me a PM/ let me know, ok? I'm also in the praise and worship players forum now. Thank you.

Hi, FlySig,
Mike S. from Canada here again. I just inquiring as to whether or not your 6778LX-VN is for sale now. I contacted Mike M. about his today. I believe the 2007 Collectors was/is made with a deep-contour cutaway bowl, and a pair of epaulets, with more expensive wood, as you mentioned.Your guitar was/is a standard mid-depth bowl, with a single epaulet on the bass side only. I personally don't like the deep contour bowl, and would prefer to get a (Standard Elite)6778LX-VN, but they are very rare, as you well know. The deal on the 1983 Collector I found in my home town didn't work out so, I'm back to square one. Send me a PM at your convenience. Thanks.
Mike S.

Mike, the 2007 had only the single epaulet. As you said the 2007 is the deep contour bowl and more expensive woods. The '07 came with the VIP preamp with XLR output. I had a 2007 for a couple of years and loved it, but found it redundant with my Adamas 2080. Yes the '07 sounds good enough to be in the same ballpark! I've kept my 6778LX-VN and play it frequently in rotation with the Adamas and an old deep bowl Patriot.
