We all keep "go bags", filled with important papers, medications, family pictures, and whatever else we couldn't bear to part with. I keep my black Legend in it's case by the door during fire season. The cat carrier is sitting nearby. Even then, there might not be time to grab it all. Last year we had a bad one, and a lot of people woke up to their houses already burning. They barely made it out alive, and quite a few escaped with the pajamas on their backs. Kinda makes me miss hurricane season!

I'm sure it could change before then. Putting all the guitars in cases in the closet now. Did I ever mention how much I hate living down here?

I live just up I75 (just south of Tampa Bay) from TJ and am closely monitoring the spaghetti models and forecasts. We dodged 'Charlie' but the odds are against us as time passes. As I sit here outside in the Keys this evening, the weather is gorgeous. We have the trailer and boat/trailer secured as well as possible and will leave early in the AM to complete preps at home. Besides we want to split before the mandatory evac notice that's almost certain to be issued. Mauvais, the MOB is the G-babies 'play' guitar. Besides I 'stole' it since the owner didn't know the diff twix a shim and piezio elements... So, good luck to all those in the 'cone of uncertainty'!

They have Fay coming up Matlacha pass, between Cape Coral and Pine Island then into Charlotte Harbor. That's not good, we live about a mile and a half from the pass as the crow flies, and my wife works in Punta Gorda, about the middle of Charlotte Harbor.

Stay safe and if you want you can send yur "O"'s up here for safe keeping! ;) I'd hate to see anything happen to the Folklore and 1719 30th. I still feel a "connection" to them. All seriousness, Be Safe!
