Well, I got bit on this one. It happens when you buy things sight unseen, and I just consider it kind of a GASseous hazard.

I've been quietly trawling for an early model Ovation for a while, and I thought I had managed to get a good deal on a '69 1111-4, but even though the owner warned me it was well-used and had a crack in the top, I took a chance. As it turns out, it had a few more issues than the crack, but it still plays like a dream and sounds every bit as good.

I won't wear all of you out with details, but I went ahead and put it up on eBay in a "Buy-It-Now or Best Offer" type of auction. I put the price for starting negotiations at $375, so feel free to check it out and if you want to make me an offer here, that's fine by me.

As I said, the guitar plays good and sounds great. It's just rough looking around the edges. So shoot me an offer and see what happens.

Here's the auction link:

Pardon the impropriety, but it also appears to be circumsized.

I know; I didn't really think anyone here would be interested, but it seems a shame to not post an "O" for sale here. The eBay ad gets into the more gory details.

It's really a shame, as it sounds and plays so nice.

That one's beyond a Van Gogh, it's more like a Marie Antoinette.

She's not a looker but she has a lot of experience and can carry a tune!

I'm not being persnickety here guys. I know what the issues are, so I'm willing to let it go pretty cheap, especially to an OFC'er.
