Location: SoCal | Real interesting guitar. Country Artist neck (14 fret, 1 7/8" at nut), Adamas slothead approximation for the headstock, Adamas II fret board inlays, supershallow bowl, and a nylon string bridge that, like the headstock, was carved similar to an Adamas I or Adamas slothead.
Very unique. The only other ssb Adamas/CA was built 30 years ago for Campbell...... |

She will go very cheap because the seller's description is a bit confusing, but as Paul said, maybe it's one of a kind.
Carol, I wish you best of luck.....

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | That IS very interesting... I wonder how the Adamas top resonates in comparison to a wood top. It seems as though I remember beal commenting that the Adamas classical idea didn't work out that well with carbon fiber. I could be wrong though. My thought processes HAVE been a bit cloudy lately. Ive spent the past week changing diapers on a 1-yr-old as my daughter gave birth to our 7th grand child (grandson) |

No such luck for me on the Adamas...I'm short on cash at the moment anyway as my last big purchase went to put a new electric outboard on my catboat (sail, not fishing). |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I guess I'll never win the lottery, since I never play... but IF I were to win the lotto, I can tink of about 4 guitars I'd like to have custom built. One of those would definitely be a classical, but I think I would lean more towards a cedar-top Jose Ramirez cutaway with a 1 1/2 inch nutwidth. I have owned an earlier model Ovation classical 16--, and it was a beautiful and rugged guitar, with a nice tone. But it also was very heavy and just didn't compare to a good quality traditional classical. |
