I suppose it could work for some people, but I could just about touch my chin to the guitar. ![]() If you're used to playing all hunched up over your guitar, 39" is probably doable. But for me, the guitar is really jammed up tight and doesn't work for the way I play ... my normal strap length is 52".

This felt just right: ![]() Then I adjusted it to exactly 44", which from what I understand is the SHORTEST possible length on alpep's strap. It's too long for me. Check out the difference in my left arm in both pics (although I notice I'm on different frets). It's stretched out uncomfortably with the longer length: ![]() I think I have to start eating more ice cream... :D :D Bob

Not only do you have a good sense of humor, you figured out how to post photos right away… we've got members that have been here for years and haven't figured that out! ;) …and your signature line? Just too funny! Welcome!

If you can't make it work, surely you know someone who would appreciate it as a Christmas gift.... and if you don't know anyone, I will volunteer to accept it!

I only use it when sitting and like to keep it fairly tight so the guitar stays vertical. My other Ultra GS was a bit loose when I sat. It was 41". I'm 4" taller and 40 lbs. fatter than Bob.
