Location: Sydney, Australia | I'm minding one of AJ's guitars which has an OP24 in it - which doesn't appear to be working. It has a loud hum and no difference when strummed. Battery has been replaced (twice) and disconnecting the pickup and battery makes no difference. No effect wiggling wires around the socket and no obvious loose wires there.
I pulled it apart and couldn't find anything obviously wrong (no loose wires etc). I suspect the OP24 has some sort of problem. Anyone have a spare they would sell cheap or a suggestion that doesn't involve a high level of electronic skills?

Location: Eaton, Indiana | Check the pickup itself. Sometimes the pickup wire will become detached.
