So those involved were our neighbors, and there were a lot of them ... not just the actors, but also cameramen, soundtechs, costumers, set designers, producers, directors, etc. One of my best friend's dad was the lead writer for Laugh-In. It all seemed so normal to us at the time; they were normal people living normal lives. Their kids went to school with us, were on our little league teams, and had birthday parties, etc. The families would shop in the grocery stores and come over for BBQs. They'd be one of the families having fun at our holiday block parties. It was only the really big stars and the producers who lived in Beverly Hills and Bel Air. The rest of them had to work hard and oftentimes struggled like the rest of the families to make ends meet while waiting for their next break. My dad used to tell me that it was the toughest business he ever knew.

My dad was Mr. Green Jeans doctor for awhile. "Tootor Turtle"? "Help Mr Wizard. help! Drizzle, drazzle, dradle, drone Time for this one to come home"

We were 26 and 24 at the time, and our wives still laugh at it. When I was a kid? I liked the live action stuff. Sky King, Circus Boy (with Mickey Dolenz) Happy holidays--whichever one you're doing.
