Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer was my favorite. I loved those Christmas' in Jersey... Merry freaking Christmas, Yous guys.

Oh look, here's Davey shoveling the steps to the church so everyone can attend christmas service. Way to go, Davey. I've been told that I style my hair after Davey. Maybe I do. If it weren't for the christian thing maybe you could say I patterned my whole life after him? Heck, he's kind to others, respects adults, allows Sally (little sister) to play along, and he has multi-racial friends (in 1966 this was a big deal on network TV). As you will also recall, Davey was a drummer. And low and behold in my teen years so was I. Plus I like the name. Davey Witko

I can remember as a kid waking up at Crack o'Dark on Sunday mornings, turning on the TV, and D&G would be the second thing to come on when the TV stations FINALLY started broadcasting for the day (the first thing to come on was when NJ actually used to broadcast "Farming" programs early in the wee hours).

D & G were also on in my house but we always would complain there were no cartoons on Sunday morning. BTW whenever I talk to a good friend of mine it is always in a Goliath voice "hey there DAAAYVEEEE"

Actually "Sunrise Semester" has an interesting history. It was rebroadcasts of lectures from NYU instructors. CBS could only get funding for it from the gov't if it was in conjunction with an institute of higher learning. My how things have gone full circle. Now NYU gets their funding from me. oh my God the farm report....I remember that too. Davey sans Goliath

I don't even want to think how long ago that was. When I was a little kid, it was those two plus Hobo Kelly and Romper Room. (Weren't some of these local to SoCal though?) I loved watching the claymation Christmas specials every year... but nothing beats the original Charlie Brown Christmas special. (Allright, guys... you watched it every year, too. Admit it!!! :D Everybody knows what a Charlie Brown Tree is... how is that, if you didn't watch the special?)
