In the last 2 1/2 weeks, I had these 12 fretters enter my life... nothing will ever be the same

Paul,
Your saddle appears to be different than mine and the other FD!4 i've seen...

does yours have a thinline pick-up?

My saddle is a thinline. Don't know why, but it might be the only one out there like that.

Beautiful! You really added some great guitars to the collection in 2005! Really like the 12 fret and cutaway combo! Well, I really like the FD14 too. Congrats!

Moody lad, you've come a long way since we spoke last.

I'll have to remember your technique: bemoan the fact that you can't rest until you find the one guitar you've spent your life searching for, until someone walks up and gives it to you.

Nice guitars, Paul. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

"Couldn't happen to a nicer guy."

People speak quite highly of The Dalai Lama, The Pope and Nelson Mandela.

(Beautiful guitars Paul - but one day, just to humour me, can we have a picture without the picks? PLEEEEEEEEZE?)

It would be an embarassment for a PI to lose his picks. Very classy guitars, Moody. I thought I had the sarcastic sympathy thing down to a science. Maybe I've been too much Rodney Dangerfield. Maybe people believed me (it would be the first time) when I said the one guitar I wanted was a 1537.

I wish I'd had the foresight to send Keller $100 bucks and have him do a white MOTS pick-shaped inlay at the 2nd fret on the fingerboard of Moody's guitar . . .

In an attempt to even out the fret wear, lest you develop some buzzing. Then again, there are those that try to facilitate a buzz every now and then.

Introducing the new Adamas "Moody, PI Special Edition". 4 frets to the body, 3" neck width, white MOTS pick-shaped inlay at the 2nd fret. Sure to amaze your friends, irritate your enemies and alienate your loved ones. Perfect for those strolling train serenades.

Because the world isn't flat. And really, who needs more than 3 frets?

Moody,
Happy belated birthday!

Congratulations on the new 12 fretters.

Something about our wives down here in Southern California... they know how to please in all the right ways... at all the right times!

Wish I was in town when you played the FD at church.

and... happy belated new year to all!
