if you ripped yer callouses off a thin coat of super glue works pretty well on the tips of your fingers. ive done that a few times. for the pain, ambesol works pretty good, and if yer stiff in your knuckles, try some rubbing alchohol. Rubbing it on yer affected spots though, not drinking it :) i rarely have sore fingers, but since my job requires heavy lifting i know how to freshen my hands after a day of work , to get ready for a few hours with my guitar.

LeStrange1, the stuff is 'tincture of benzoin.' Supposed to promote the corticatization of skin without the development of blood listers underneath the calluses. Or, so I've been told. Maybe Dr. Phil can chime in?

Nope. I use a spray on called "Tough Skin". It's like aftermarket calluses. Dave

Btw, it's DOCTOR Rene Richards

Wasn't she the Governor of Texas or the Secretary of State in Florida? I can never keep them all straight.

With the Rene Richards I was thinking of, you have to use "he/she". Proved that a fair tennis playing guy could be a good tennis gal. Also proved you don't need balls to play tennis. Your turn.

Based on your post, I gather that all one needs for good tennis action is all one needs for good Ovation action.

(wait for it)

(here it comes)

A good shim?

(if I have to explain that...)
