Have you ever run into the Dog on the Island? and is it just me or do they say Bra,,,instead of Bro...

Yes, they most definately say Bra and not Bro.

Of course, I often get "Hey Haole" (pronounced "howlie"): A non-Polynesian in Hawaii, especially a white person.

Ahh, the joys of living in paridise. I try to tell people back home, it's not the same kind of enjoyment when you live here as when your just on a vacation. Overpopulation, the tourists, an outrages cost of living (my apartment is a 2 bedroom, about 1200 sf- I pay $2700 a month for rent), price gouging, gas at $3.25 a gallon, milk at $6.00 gal, car insurance twice the mainland cost, gang rapes, traffic jams, having your car broke into everytime you go to the beach...the list goes on and on...
It's not really paradise, it just stays above 60 degrees year round.
