Does anyone know if Adamas made any Deep bowl acoustic bass guitars, and if so were many sold?

I'd really like to upgrade from my Celebrity Deluxe Bass.

I think there were probably a couple of prototypes made but that was it. you will need to get an Ovation bass which many were made.

There werer just a few as Al said. Pretty rare and all made to order.
The spruce top bass is the way to go, or order one made for you.

I have the CC274, and it plays pretty well, but it doesn't have a real big booming bottom-end unplugged sound I would like. It seems like a 1581-style would really punch out the acoustic bass sound I'm looking for.

I'm afraid to ask, but what's a ball-park figure to have something like that made?

What acoustic bass DOES have enough "deep, booming sound" to be heard well on its own, other than one of those big Mexican creations?

The Adamas bass that Master Keller had at last year's Jam had KILLER bottom end.

He had me take it out of the case and I played it (unplugged) on a noisy outdoor deck. Y'don't just "hear" it as much as you "feel" it while playing it. I think it might've loosened a couple of my fillings. That thing is just . . . "sick".

If you have to ask, you probably can't afford it. :D

I'll bet it would have a super great sound.

I love that cardiac arhythmia inducing bass wave feeling... Question: do we assume that those in marketing believe that an Adamas bass won't succeed in the market? There is, after all, and Elite Bass and a Viper Bass (if they are still produced).

The only pic I could readily access was this one of KarmannG playing it at last year's Jam:

OH ... MY ... GOSH! THAT IS EXACTLY THE ONE I HAVE BEEN VISUALIZING IN MY DREAMS!

It's a perfect match for my 1581-8! It MUST be a sign!

Vince, does your 1581 have holes on both sides, or just the bass side like Dave's?
