Witco (and others),

I recvently played an early Melissa Ethridge from the same era (Optima Pre-amp) at Sam Ash. It is brand new and is almost exactly like the Mill CB except it's a hundred times uglier :D The Mill CB was the first smooth-top CVT. They *may* have changed bracing, material, etc to set the Mill CB apart from the Melissa. I don't think it sounds quite like the current CVT, and definately different from the SMT. Not better or worse, just different. OK marketing dept guys, applaud if you must. It has a Unique Voice....

I love the look of the ME! It totally blew me away the first time I saw one. Bought the 02 CE instead and saved a grand, but I still lust after that blue beauty.
Saw one in the local store today.. I think they are asking like 2400 for it.. Got to save the pennies and maybe it will still be there when I get enough. :D
