Location: Omaha | Just curious - are there, or have there ever been - any lefty Adamas guitars?
Mostly curious about the recent U681T-5...I realize the new preamp isn't available lefty, but the Op40 would work fine for me...
alpep? Anyone else (I believe Al's at a show this weekend...)? |

Location: Germany | Yes, they build lefty Adamas guitars. My friend Hans has one of them, see this page:
Hans\' Lefty Adamas
He told me that they produce the lefties only between Xmas and New Year's Day cause they have to retool the production facilities for this purpose. Don't know if this is correct?!

In the early days, the Adamas I were not available as lefty: LATE 70\'S ADAMAS PRICE LIST
In 1988/83, they were available as custom order ($ + 10%): 82/83 PRICE LIST

Location: Central Florida | There was a guy on ebay, probably two years ago now, who was selling a nice left-handed (textured top?) Adamas I. For whatever reason, the auction ended early and the seller never relisted it. That was the ONLY one of it's kind I've ever seen. Although it seems vaguely like Paul McCartney may have had one, unless I'm confusing it with Denny Lane's. |

kid-school; the guitar Hans is playing looks like a standard left-handed Elite...am I missing something?
I'll contact HQ after NAMM to see if lefties are still available. |

it's definitely a lefty Adamas, look at the pic (headstock says "Adamas").

Location: Omaha | Thanks - that helps! I can see the headstock and the top of the guitar much better in that pic! |
