When I was in Nashville a couple years ago, I spent several hours there playing some very nice lefty acoustics; they let me take them back in a practice room and pick away! Very nice folks. Wish I could've taken one home with me--one of the few Martins that made me weak in the knees; a very nice, $3K rosewood jumbo...what a cannon!

Don't get me wrong, I'm always glad to welcome a new member, but come on waskel,moody,p.i., I got tons of grief from my beloved members, i.e. waskel, when I joined just because I had a 1868 for sale. I think the response was, "here is another hit and run". What has happened to the skeptics, this place used to be like the old David Letterman, now it seems more like Jay!

For awhile when someone signed up just to sell an Ovation, or worse, try to find out how much it was worth, some of the old timers seemed to rip into him/her pretty good. Gulfcoast is an old timer now, but seems to remember.

Didn't help that a couple of guys my daughter dated thought they were drummers. If you can sing, though, you are redeemed.

By the way, I can't sing either :) but I am looking for a good lawyer!

I'll try to do better after I get back. Hopefully I will be able to keep up occasionally while I'm gone. I'd hate to lose my touch...
