In this month's Acoustic Guitar, La Guitara is featured. Interviews with the women, including Kaki, who cut an album of all female guitarists. Patty Larkin, Muriel Anderson, Mimi Fox, Rory Block...

Killah players all, from a variety of styles and for those of you looking for something/someone new to listen to...there's a ton of talent here...Give the gals an ear

Ovation get's mention, of course, in the gear list

Vicki Genfan is another. No question, these ladies can play. Good stuff.

Some of the ladies from LaGuitara (including Kaki) played at the NAMM Show as part of Muriel Anderson's All-Star Guitar Night. Unfortunately, it was going on at the same time (and right next door) to Ovation's 40th Anniversary Party . . . .

As she also performed at the Ovation party, with DiMeola following - didn't see any reason to go down the hallway.

Unless you were at the first couple of tables next to the stage, very hard for anyone to see her play. Too bad they hadn't thought of a platform for the stage.
