IMHO, the 30th Anniversary Custom Legend is the finest of the past 30 years...(I have had five, currently have three)
It is not a recreation but the blending of the past and present (OP-Pro & XLR, with Bearclaw spruce). I love the 1619 but this is above the 1619. |

Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066 | I have to 2nd Tony's sentiments. The 30th CL has been in the top 3 guitars that I own for quite a while. The more I play it, the more it opens up and the better it sounds.
I would have to say that on any given day, it is the best sounding ovation I own. Tonally different than the FD14 or the 1537 but every bit their equal. |
