| Hello David and Welcome to the OFC Board.
The model 9110 case is designed for an Ovation deep bowl, and if your guitar (Balladeer 1111) is original and does not have any electronics, this model case would work perfectly for your guitar.
Some of the early Ovation molded cases do not work for guitars with electronics because they do not have the proper cut-outs for the knobs. |

Location: WILMINGTON, DE | I have that exact case. It was in the crawl space (without the guitar in it!) for about 15 years. I just took it out and it seems to have gotten warped. Its doesn't close right without a little pushing on the top. I am wondering if I shouldn't get a new one??
I got it out because the old Balladeer is going to the shop for a little work: new saddle and nut, get the fretts looked at to see if they need replacing. They are worn but I am not sure how much. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | The Country Artist I just got came in one of the old brown cases that has the same problem, Joxter. I couldn't see why it doesn't seem to close all the way without pushing. It does the same thing without a guitar in it. The hinges or the metal trim aroung the edges may be bent a little or the hinges may be installed a little too tight. |

Location: WILMINGTON, DE | I think its the metal trim and one of the hinges is bent. It is road weary, I bought it for my O when the guys I played with formed a band and we started playing bars. It got packed and unpacked with band equipment and has had its nocks. I think it is still Ok though. |
