Just got a DVD bootleg of a 1982 Warren Zevon concert where he plays a black 14-fret Custom Legend 12 string for a lot of the show. Damn fine DVD.

Unsurprisingly I found it on Ebay. Cost around $15. Apparently it was originaly an MTV concert released on VHS. Consequently Sound and picture quality are OK though not what we're used to now. But who cares, it's Warren live and that ain't gonna happen again anytime soon. It's from around the time of "The Envoy" so has a lot of the classics (not "Lawyers" unfortunately) plus a couple of covers ("Cadillac Ranch" and JD Souther's "Simple Man, Simple Dreams) Try an Ebay search, I seem to remember the seller had a bunch. I may have a DVD copier soon and I have no moral objection to bootlegging a bootleg for no financial gain

Thang ya, Paul. I'll do some snooping around ebay and some other places and I let ya know what I find. Gotta love Warren, dead or alive....

Is that around the time of the "Learning To Flinch" live album?? Hair tied back in a ponytail?

No, this concert was from '82. Learning to Flinch was around '94 if memory serves. Seems to be the same Custom Legend 12 on both though. Last time I saw him live he was using Gibson J185's
