| Hi stratman, the one in the archives is identical to the one i own (with the "stacked vol/tone knobs" on the top), but i have seen them with a single vol knob on top and a single vol knob on the side...mine is a '78.. |

value? Put it on ebay with a low starting bid and no reserve. The marketplace will establish it's value a lot more realistically than any guestimates here. But for what it's worth, a 1624 in excellent condition with OHSC "should" be worth around a grand USD, but in reality they struggle to reach half of that. The UK market is a little different. 1624's are less common over here, and the UK retail prices are a lot higher to begin with. I've sold several 70's/80's 1624's for £500 to £600. Cutaway versions generally fetch more than non-cuts in my experience. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I've been watching these lately on ebay. One went for $304 one for $311. Both had minor dings. One recently for $369 and I'm looking at one that I hope my brother just bought for me for $350. I think all of these may have been 1973 models for some reason. |

Location: SoCal | I have two from 1981 (240869 and 241383)...241383 has a couple of finish cracks that I am working on. I got the 240869 from Serge - had no problem paying $500 for a nice condition guitar. |
